I am having a somewhat unusual experience flying helis on AFPD vs the real thing. On AFPD I can barely maintain a hover with any of the popular models however I am now hovering full packs tail in with my Blade CPP and #4. I thought people usually found the opposite. I find the helis really twitchy in AFPD. I am using a MHW usb adaptor for my BCPP trans.

Never tried AFPD, but I find hovering real helis in one place to be a lot easer in real life than in Phoenix RC as well. In general the twitchiness in the sim is realistic, it's just that the Phoenix helis drift around a lot more than any of my real helis do, even when I have wind turned off. This is one of the things that's supposed to be improved in the about-to-be-released Phoenix version.
In general it's just as easy for sim software to make flying harder than real life as it is to make it easier than real life. The really hard thing is making the sim realistic.
