Hi guys,
Hoping you can help,
I have just installed 3 servos into newly built Spirit.
I have used 2 GWS mini BB's for rudder and Elev. and a HS80 micro for the flaps.
I am using a Hitec HFS04MI+ 4 chan rx.

Problem: With any of the GWS servo's plugged into Chan 1 and HS80 pugged into Chan2 i get glitching and spasms of chan2 when moving the GWS through its range.

I have tried having the hs80 in chan4, and get no probs, doesnt matter where or how many GWS I have in any other channels, i dont get any glitching.... but put it back in chan2 and it spasms when moving GWS in chan1.

I have tried other hitec servos in chan2 and get same prob. With a GWS servo in chan 1 AND chan2 it all works good.

So chan2 is stuffed you may say, but I have other Hs322 (?)servo's and can repeat the process without any glitching, it only happens with the GWS servo's and only chan2.

So my question, being a newb to RC am i performing a no-no in having two different makes of servo's attached to the rx, or is there possibly something more sinister afoot here ?
The rx has been in a wing that has crashed about 10 times pretty hard.
The GWS are new.

TIA

Beefa,
I have several planes flying with mixed servos and no problems! Sounds really weird!

hmmmm bummer : (

I have been able to find a work around, and installed 2 hs80 micro's as rudder and elevator, and used one of the GWS mini's in chan2 for the flaps... and it works without glitching...
Seems the Hitec servos dont like to be on channel 2 with GWS servos any where else.... most odd.

On my Slow Stick Bipe I am using HS-81's for rudder (ch1) and elevator (Ch2) and as camera trip servo (ch4). Am using a GWS pico for flaps Ch5). No problems!

Maybe the GWS servo that you took out was the source of the glitching- a bad/noisy motor? Although can't think of any reason it would only affect one receiver slot.

Frankly, I think you've got the better servos on the elevator and rudder now.
