I try pressing the F1 function key which is supposed to switch from normal to idle up mode, but nothing happens. I play around with the throttle curve 2 settings under the advanced model setup. I change all the 5 point values to 0.0. I expect the motor will stop, but the motor is still running when I press F1 key.

Am I missing something or is there a bug?

The throttle curve is only used when the governor is off. On all heli models, the governor is on by default. For the selected model, go to advanced settings and set governorOn to 0. Then throttleCurve1 is for idle up off, and throttlrCurve2 is for idle up on.

Make sure you have a different key for "on" (F1) and "off" (F2). F1 won't toggle on AND off.
