Ira,
I hope this is the right place to ask a question re the gallery.
What are scofflaws?

Ira, great shots, and with the ship out there I could see where that would be an easy "plunk" shot. I believe a good gunner could hit the "N" in Haundai. Great story too.

Thanks Guys,
Rodger I think I was trying to say scoff-law ie....one prone to ignore the rules.
Powered RC is against park rules and I had to get special permission.
Non powered RC is always allowed in some areas and this a a popular site for slope soaring during the sideways rain winter months. This often requires flying with gloves on and the TX in a plastic bag.

Hey Dan,
Thanks for getting this forum going!
I got the green light to shoot some more out there and I'll be putting up some more pic's when I get them along with a little more history.....ok, modern history.
I must confess flying there is as easy as taking a nap with the huge well mowed lawn.
Even if the wind is kicking up it comes off the water and is nice and smooth.
Some of the site has been lost to erosion and my next flt will be geared toward documenting the damage and imaging some fortification areas that are about to be lost.
This is a GREAT place to take the kids. All of mine have flown many a kite here. :)
