I am having trouble locating the host for a website. I want to report this website for copyright infringement. I contacted the website and complained, and asked them to remove my photos and they have chosen to ignore me. Now I want to report them to their webhost.

They have been using my photos illegaly for many months. I never gave them the photos. I have asked them to remove them. They refuse. This is the page with my photos on it:

You will notice the photos have my watermark on them: Kmot

This is the business:

http://rchobby.co.uk/

This is their domain info:

rchobby.co.uk

Registrant type:

Registrant's address:

United Kingdom

Registrant's agent:
Schlund + Partner AG [Tag = SCHLUND]
URL: http://registrar.schlund.info

Relevant dates:
Registered on: 11-Feb-2003
Renewal date: 11-Feb-2009
Last updated: 10-Feb-2007

Registration status:
Registered until renewal date.

Name servers:

ns34.1and1.co.uk

I have sent an e-mail to Sclund but they may just be a name registrar? I dunno the ins/outs of this web stuff.

Thank you for any help you can give me to get this resolved.

Ok, you may be asking the wrong people. We are hobby people, not lawyers. Second, I think most people here are in the US. I feel your best bet is to contact a lawyer in your country. If this is going to span international borders, I would say your about out of luck unless you want to spend thousands.
Im not a lawyer so you may want to talk to one rather than listening to me.

Im pretty sure they do not legealy have to respond to you unless you get them seponeded into court. Then you have to prove those are your pictures, with out a doubt; at least those are the US rules. Your rules might be different.
Contact their web host and try to bring them into it before you get a lawyer. Send them most of the eveidence you have and if they are a repituable company, they should do something about it, such as shutting down their site till its resolved.

Here is a little more info, im a computer geek on the side.
http://oneandone.net/ is who I think they are hosting with. It looks like they opperate in a few countries, including the US, UK and Germany. I believe the parrent company is a German company. I would start by going to http://oneandone.net/ and fliling a complaint about copyright infringment, send them some, but not all proof and see if you get a responce. It may take up to a few weeks to months to get a response. Be persistant but not pushy and dont threaten them. Remember, these guys are most likly on your side to help you.
