I've not flown them properly yet but I have 3, I'll post after the 8th May. Sorry for the delay but they are a present and so can't use them yet. As for build they look ok, may tape the balance boards up with some clear duck tape though.

I've got some tips form here:

Seem to have lots of power and if you can use the gear for other planes in the future then they are a bargain. May be worth noting some planes etc. that you can put the gear in to let people know they can.

What is the different between the mk1 and mk2 as I've seen both on ebay? I've also seen lots of others ie RCV etc and I've read they are all just cheap imports from chine, but with theyir own stickers on? What the difference with the flydroboat, is it better in some way?

I'll get back to you soon ref. my comments on the flydroboats as I'm new to R/C flying so will be useful hopefully.

the RCV one usual come on 27Mhz while the Flydroboat comes on 35Mhz
they are basically the same body construction but the flydroboat claims better range and battery life (i've not tested this myself)

I Do beleive the difference between the MK1 and 2 is just they sorted the charger problem (they didn't have a 3pin plug and the 2 pin one was mashup)
i'll have to get that confirmed but thats the only diference i've noticed.

I Love the fact it's ony 26quid to rebuild the whole body.
