1/4" forward of the balance point then you can adjust the location from there. Keep moving it aft till you start popping off then move it back forward again and you'll be done. Rememeber, if you ever move the balance point you also need to change the location of the tow hook.

Suggestion: Get the tow hook close and then fly the plane to adjust the CG. Move the CG back until it is on the verge of being uncontrollable. Then move it forward to the last comfortable point. Now you have a place to use for the CG and can work on the tow hook. With a good tow hook position and strong hi-start you should be able to get a 66-80 degree launch with a small head wind. Good luck and keep on flying.

I put it just a tad infront of the cg and it worked great. It went up and up and up . I would say 500' and release off with just a touch of down. I got three launches before a soccer game broke out and I had to get of the field. One of my flights lasted over a half hour . I must have caught a thermal. It was great fun. Thanks for the info. :) :) :)
