hi everyone. I bought a night camera off ebay a year or so ago, this one has the 20 or so IR leds for night vision.
To cut a long story short the IR illuminator assy has packed up. It uses 2 SMT transistors and an LDR for ambient light detection., I won't have a problem changing them for something a little larger but I need to know the conections.
The first tranny is a DE 317, look like a small power job, it has a little tab and 3 leads, about 4mm long X 2mm wide, the second tranny is low power, a W1A 4d.
EDIT:::: found the problem, the LED's are connected in a series-parralel arrangement and there are 4 dead ones in parts of the chain, will get some more :D
