I have a Kyosho Melody MP, which was a sexy looking plastic glass-slipper lookalike from the 80's with a removable motor pylon on top. That pylon thing never seemed to work for me, no oomph, and after a crash damaged it, I put it away and flew it as a glider-only... what would you think a Speed 400 would do for this plane now, and what prop and battery? Is it worth trying out?
I also inherited a Kyosho plastic fuse from some kind of low-winged motorized glider with a t-tail. I think it may be called the Valencia, and it may have been close to 2-meters span. This thing came in gas and electric versions, I recall. Mine has no wings or motor, and I am looking at scratch-building new wings for it. I need measurements and profiles for the root and tip sections, and jpeg scans
of the assembly manual, or at least the parts about the wings. Any help appreciated. I reckon with a geared Speed 600, this thing could fly better than new if I keep it light.
