So Im very interested in building my own autopilot for my cheapo dragonfly for run.
The Paparazzi project looks very good and complete but I think I may have problems sourcing the CPU that they use (phillips ARM cpu) which got me thinking.
Seems like the only way to go is to get the gumstix and save yourself a stack of time since you dont have to build any boards. Only downside is since the gumstix will be in control of many tasks instead of a separate microcontroller for each task theres more likelyhood for the system to crash...
Any other disadvantages of using gumstix in a UAV project.
