Hi
Just wondered if it is possible to Wire my old Futaba Challanger 6 with a buddy lead so i do not need to buy a new tx for my flight sim .

The encoder chip is an NE5044, the serial data stream appears on pin 11 of this ic.

The data on this pin is then fed to the RF stages. What you need to do is identify where it feeds in, then disconnect it and wire it to a suitable socket
(5 pin is usually the standard)...

Easily done, refer to photos and diagrams at
