Good evening ! (at least here in Sweden)

I'm building a Midwest Zero which I'm going to use a Rossi
.40 engine for. But I dont care much for the spring-wrap-around
-the-cylinderhead-fastening of the minipipe. So now I wonder
if anyone knows if there is a "regular" muffler that will fit
directly onto the Rossi exhaust port ?

best regards

The spring fixings work very well.

Is this a side exhaust or rear exhaust Rossi? Which model exactly?

It's a side exhaust 23R40 engine.
Yes, the spring fixing seemed to work when i benched the engine,
but ithink the minipipe will look really ugly coming out the side
of the engine cover. But the spring fixing still allows the pipe
to move slightly. I'd prefer a more solidly fixed conventional muffler.

You should still be able to get the (laughingly named) quiet silencer from Rossi - See http://www.justengines.unseen.org/Rossi.htm for example.

One of the noisiest mufflers I've ever come across!
