Heading hold gyros are the only way to go regardless of which model
helicopter you're talking about. While I'm sure there are still "normal
only" type gyros out there, they're getting fewer and farther between.

.... of course, that has nothing to do with the question asked.

Adding a HH gyro to the Blade CP is going to be tricky, since
everything is built into the 4-in-1. Looks like this guy did it and
included instructions --

Now that the CP Pro is out, it might just be easier to get the 4-in-1
equivalent for the Blade CP Pro and use it -- it allows you to put in
a HH gyro without all the soldering. It does this by separating the
RX and gyro/ESC functions into separate units (so it wouldn't be a
4-in-1 anymore, but two different units instead.)
