You don't give too much away in your posts so this is all going to be on assumptions !
When you buy Realflight G3.5 it will come with its own dedicated USB interface as this provides the security protection for the application. I'm not 100% sure if G3.5 comes with a selection of TX leads or you have to buy it to match the transmitter, if its the latter then buying one for the 7C will contain the square plug to suit the TX.
If you have already been sold a copy of the CD then you have been duped as the software won't work without the matching hardware, which can't be bought on its own.
Look at the manufatures web site, use the search engines (google etc) and locate a local dealer

Comes with a Futaba and JR conector.
You can use your own tx in 2 ways.
one is where you just use it as a Joystick. (No programing in your TX)
and the other is where you turn off G3's mixing and use your own Tx's Mixers)
If you are useing a heli. you will need to have MCCPM (CCPM turned off, the G3 program dose not use ECCPM, it dosnt need to it uses 3 signals. Colective Roll Pitch)
works well. and the instructions with G3.5 explain how to do everything (Except how to program your own Tx : ) of cause )
