I was planning on driving down there today. But I got sick last night, and I have been sick all day today so far too. Did it start to rain out there?
Thanks for taking the pics!

Interesting photos - the one 'Emergency' and SeaImp - any chance of other photos?
The patrol boat looks like the Sangsetia - would like to see how the owner powers that one, etc. Thanks, Mike

Hee hee, I know the feeling... but the ST is more of a "Sea" boat than the Lindberg tug in my opinion! ;)

The Sea Imp was a kit produced by the late Don Furguson of Nanimo, BC, Canada.
See Gene made it there with the Millineum Falcon tractor tug. Big boat with big power in the drives. The detail on that steamer ( possibly African Queen kit) is nicely done with all the weathering and extra parts.
Nice photos there Toes. Thanks for sharring.

Thanks for the info - the Sea Imp didn't appear that small in the photo - I have the larger hull without the Sea Imp moulded into the hukk. I didn't realize there were more of Don's hulls out there - first tug I bought was one of his early dozer boats. Just spent yesterday trying to make four brass rudders look the same for the S -I, going to need lots of filing! Pretty sure the patrol boat comes from a metcalf plan - Thanks again for the photos.

That meet had a lot of nice looking boats attending, and a really decent variety too, judging by the photos. :)
The one Brooklyn tug has too many crew standing about doing nothing, someone should put the lazy buggers to work---. :D

Was that "Gator" actually powered by the "dressed down" steam engine, or was it electric powered with a dummy engine and boiler?

That would explain the four handles on the carrying platform.

I think that is built from a Model Boats set of articles a few years back - The Sangsetia - from Metcalf plans. I have one in the partially built stage - that one has a few more details on it. Let me know if you wish more information on the articles - that photo caught my eye as well.
