I am starting the build of a Supermarine WALRUS. A bi-plane fan, retracts have not been an issue or concern for me. Now, I have two amphibs (a SEA OTTER, 92" WS), that require retractable gear. I am thinking mechanical rather than pneumatic the way to go as I feel I can build this type of gear and keep things simple. Anyone with ideas? plans? experience? they would care to share. Thanks for any and all assistance.
