Ed,Jocke,Thanks for the info!Maybe if I win the Lotto or buy them used from the guy that has the 3 bladers for $30 ea.,but I was really looking for 4 bladers for an 85" Top Flight P47.Tower has the Gold Ed. kits for $219--a lot of airplane for the money I think.

Thanks guys,Mabe I'll start saving for a Solo setup--sure like it! Back in around the mid 90s I had a 60 size P47 and I made a 4 blade by routing out a channel 1/2 way thru the center of both 2 blade props and epoxied them together. These were hard Maple props and it worked fine, but I always worried that some day it might throw a blade.Mabe with electric being much smoother,it might be fine. Also,at the much lower RPMs the electric will be turning and no ossilations from an IC engine.I believe I've just talked myself into testing this method,of course I could always just stack them.

I am using a zinger 3 blade on this Ki-61 Tony. They are individual blades which bolt to a special aluminum hub. So far its been problem free. If one blade gets damaged you only have to replace that blade. The whole package is pretty afforable compared to the other options.

Pdawg,Nice Tony---always liked that one--sorta looks like a P 51 B model.Did you make the hub from a spinner back plate or where did you get it?

The hub is nothing special 8kas in terms of being home built. It is sold by Zinger especially for their props. They sell it in a 3 and 4 blade arrangement.
