Anyone seen this ship. I think it is a "toy" rc ship.

IWC,
That's not a bad looking boat! The ad says it's R/C, but with a 100 foot range. I think it's probably proportionally steered by the motors. If you could get into it and redo the electronics, I think it would be something nice to have. Not a bad price either.

Though it looks fairly decent, the electronics are of the cheapo toy variety that the Chinese seem to have a habit of foisting off on the US consumer.

If you keep buying this stuff, it will encourage them to continue offering crap of this kind. ;)

It's suggested that you reserve your good R/C gear for something that you'd be proud of, and not laughed at when you go to the pond---. :D

der kapitan,
Hey, considering what/how I build, being laughed at is sort of normal. The 'toys' or RTRs aren't what I would normally pick as one of my boats. But that one really is sort of a 'higher class' of 'toy' (not sure if I like that description but no other idea of what to call it). Not quite as 'toy-ish' as others?

(Now, if they offered it in kit form...)

I don't think anyone has a right to laugh at anyone elses boat. I've seen cool stuff built out of LEGO's. These toys have a place and while they won't win any kind of model competition, they are still able to be effective boats.

I would laugh at a 2x4 with a blower fan on it that drove it around a lake, but not because it wasn't cool, but because it's a friggen 2x4! LOL! (My question would be, "So, ya gonna go brushless with that thing?" :D )
