I will be going to Singapore next month and I would like to ask those familiar with the place the hobby shops that cater to EP Micro/Mini Helis. Please provide the address of the shops and/or the landmark nearest to them.

For those who have been to such shops in Singapore, is it cheaper there or in Hong Kong?

This is just going to be my 2nd time in Singapore and would appreciate if anyone can assist. Thanks a lot!

see www.rotor.com.sg

The prices are better, unlike Singapore Hobby, they don't charge you 2% extra for paying with credit card.

The main building is the Fook Hai building (very central and close to the main business district.
In there there's

http://www.ntchobbies.com/
and a couple of others

Then theres rotor ( probably the biggest RC shop in Singapore)
http://shop.rotor.com.sg/

and quite close is
http://www.skyhobbies.com.sg/

there's also
http://www.rcehobby.com/

If you want location maps go to

Thank you Bigfilsing! Very usefull.

I will visit Singapore this week for five days (airline crew), so enough time to visit them all.

The prices look good, compared to Europe.

You will get the best support and prices from http://shop.rotor.com.sg/ Talk to Walter. I find him to be a very informative and warm person, even if you don't make a decision to buy. He also charges exact freight and is a pretty honest and gentlemanly person to deal with.

I used to get some stuff at Singapore Hobbies but they are kinda snobbish with a "don't have time for you" or "call back tomorrow" attitude. They also overcharge 20-30% on freight. Their customer support is also bad and if you have a defective item or part, you will have a tough time getting a replacement.
