I want to donate my rc model to a museum. It is 7.8' long X 2' X 2'. It is in original condition with a 120 watt dual channel sound system.
8 large GM car speakers.
2 RAM sound modules modified so that as the rpm increases, so does the volume.
SS drive lines.
5.5" x 5.5" by 5 blades, Naval Bronze props.
Brass rudders in SS shafts and bearings.
Full American crew and Austrailian Commandos on deck.
dual 50 cal. turrets
2 37 mm cannons
4 20 mm cannons
2 roll off torpedo racks
2 air launching torpedo tubes
Extra deck ammo boxes
41# thrust trolling motor inside the hull driving the shafts with timing belts.
No damage to the boats finish.

I can do a cell phone, sound system, running and send new photos of her now.

Thanks for any help.

Are you donating it because you don't want to run it any more, or for a historical education prop, or like every one who builds boats you have run out of room.

Beautiful model, I am sure a maritime museum would be glad to accept it. You might try these sites to find museums in your area:

Fall River, Mass has PT boats in its Battleship Cove museum, I'd try there if you are close enough:

How about the National WW II musem in New Orleans. They built Higgins Boats at the site during the war. They also have a Higgins Boat (LCVP) plan on their homepage. Just a paper fold up, but hey you never know, look where the "Springer" has gone these days :)

Cylops, Have you tried to contact "PT Boaters, Inc"? If anybody will appreciate your boat, it's these folks: they're PT Boat Vets!!

Thank you everyone. You have all helped me with a unpleasant problem. I feel there are enough places to check out with a good outcome.

Thank you very much.

OK I have one more idea , If your near texas , Look up the Nimits naval musume, THEY have a higgins PT that has been restored, Any other time I could tell you witch one but right now I am not sure,

Fall rivers would be a good one on the east coast,
That could be your best bet or down in Texas , Everbody elest had given you other ideas as well . OK Good luck I know it will fine a good home somewhear, DON That Portland Rustbucket
