Hangar 9 27% cap 232 wing bolts.help

Just purchased the hangar 9 27% cap 232 and the wing bolts that came with the kit do not fit. Has anybody had this same problem.

Couldn't you just replace them with the right ones from a hardware store?

They actually were the right ones, there was glue on the blind nut in the wing from the factory. That is why I had a tough time getting them to thread on. Had to be careful because I didnt want the blind nut coming loose because there was no way Icould get in the wing to reset it without making a mess.

A trick I have used is to cut a groove lengthwise in a steel screw using your Dremel. Just ~1/4" is all you need. It will clean the threads nicely.
