Hello

Recently when i tried to reread a thread i'd bookmarked on the mec p-51 http://www.ezonemag.com/disc/Forum12/HTML/001770.html it came up missing. I'm getting ready to start the model and was disappointed to find all the info on power systems, performance and bulding tips was lost. Sure i can start a new thread but the info was very specific, and from people building and flying at the time.

Are the messages periodically/automatically purged? Are they lost forever or archived somewhere? I realize even text files can grow huge, and slow searches, etc. so i understand they may be culled. From now on i'll save the threads i don;t want to lose.

The Ezone forums, aside from just a fun place to converse, are a vast research library. The collected experience of 100s (1000s?) of flyers, from industry vets to neophytes is a great resource. The forums kinda document the history of eflight. Eventually the technical info will be outdated. Then again, maybe when fuel-cell powered, semi-autonomous VTOL microjets are common at every park, someone will be interested in building an "old timer" with brushed motor and nicds. http://www.ezonemag.com/disc/smile.gif Will it still be possible to read about these planes (and people) from the site that helped start it all?
