Hi
According to the JR website
(http://www.jrradios.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=JRPR2000)
they have changed the 10.7 MHz stage IC of the R2000 receiver to a completely new IC. Can someone help to find out which IC (part #) they are using now... just curious about their claim!

Means they had a load of junk before, and now its a bit better, that's all.
Our receivers have never been anywhere near as good as they COULD be..no point.

I suppose nobody is inetersted to discuss whats new in JR R2000 receiver!
Anyhow I am unable to understand how it locks to the desired Tx frequency in the presence of other Tx operating in the same band or worse on the same channel. Is that the signal strength that determines which Tx is "closer" to the receiver?

Just have a look to Motorola's IC ...
I've read here ten times about the "signal strength output" ( RSSI ) of these circuits.
they just changed their olds SO41 or MC 3357 for new generation circuits ...( I'm just joking a bit ! ... so little bit. )
