Hi,
Is there a such thing as a smoke system for an rc airplane? Not the cartriges, just a little machine or something that produces smoke..... :)
If there is a ''smoke system'', where can you buy it from?
Thanks,
Bill

I don't know for electric but if you have an internal combustion engine gas/diesel or glow you need: Smoke fluid, an extra tank, a smoke pump, a smoke fluid valve, a check valve, tubing and a modified muffler. These items can be found at any online retailer. I typically use www.towerhobbies.com, or http://www.horizonhobby.com

Okay, thanks... I think you can just get those smoke cartriges for electric airplanes, then... :(
I guess that's better than nothing, though :D

So you want smoke from an electric plane and don't want to use smoke cartridges ?
Get a fairly big LiPo pack and an ESC. Connect ESC to Lipo and short the ESC output leads. Connect ESC to what ever smoke servo channel you assign. When you are ready just flip the "smoke" switch on Tx. You may also get fire as a side effect, that'd be even more cooler than just smoke. :D
Now I have to go hide before Bill gets his gun and gives me some real fire....

Good idea... ;)
But don't you think that would be a little dangerous? :p ;) :D
