On saturday night,Sydney time, I sent a reply to the "what kind of snake is this" post.It was on reflection pretty stupid (along the lines of "thats not a snake"ala Crocodile Dundee). http://www.ezonemag.com/disc/redface.gif
Anyhow when I logged back on on sunday the post wasnt there but two others I posted around the same time were there.
So my question is can moderators just delete posts?and if so do you get any indication to say this has happened?I was a bit drunk and was demonstrating the ezone to an interested and also drunk mate so perhaps I didnt post correctly(I am sure I didnt use any swear words).
Anyway Im not accusing anyone of censorship or anything as I was hoping to delete the post myself,im just wondering what the rules are?
Cheers Rich.

Moderators (of each individual forum) can and will delete offensive posts. However, one thing you may have done is hit 'back' before the post actually took place. Many times there are errors when you click 'Submit Reply", and if you skipped over this by hitting 'back', you may have missed the fact that your post never made it.

Normally when I delete a post, I email the poster as to what I had done and why just so's there is no questions about the whereabouts of the post in question.

Mark, as one of the steady posters in that thread, I hope that I said nothing offensive..in thinking back I don't think I did but if so who should I appologize to?

I posted a pic of my Rascal to show a guy asking for plane suggestions. It was in the Open forum, but today the picture is no longer in the posting. Is there a new rule about not posting pics in the messages? Is there a set of rules laying around here where we can read through the Do's and Dont's of posting?
