Interesting. The number of posts for each user is kept by the UBB software and not in the cookie.

Hummmmm???

Did you remove your login and reestablish it?

You don't have to reregister after you delete your cookies.

You should be able to login under your old user name with the password that you used under that account. If you have forgotten your password, you should be able to receive your password by opening a new post and clicking on the "Forgot your password?" or click on the link: http://www.ezonemag.com/cgi-bin/disc/Ultimate.cgi?action=lostpw

Enter the email address that you registered with and your password will be sent to that address.

Good luck,
Dave

This is Andy's forum, but I administer and develop for several UBB boards for.... other sites. http://www.ezonemag.com/disc/wink.gif

As soon as I saw the question, I knew the answer off the top of my head.

So, actually it was I who was trying to raise his count.

While we're at it, note that you don't even need to use the same computer. With your Username and Password, you can read and post to the E Zone from any computer, anywhere. I check in from 2 or 3 different locations.

BillH,

Please do not associate the post count with "clout". New readers may get an invalid perception.

The real respect here comes from other things like the terms "Moderator" and "Administrator" titles or published designers like Jim Ryan.

Look at my post count...and i'm merely a rookie. http://www.ezonemag.com/disc/smile.gif
