...i recently took my passion for flying to the next level by purchasing a feathercut foam wing cutting machine. does anyone have any links or suggestions on the best slope/combat flying wing airfoils? any input would be greatly appreciated to help on saving wasted attempts. i just finished cutting one with a modified rg15 foil, test flight was good, but it seemed to be a bit slower than expected although very stable. whew! theres alot more to it than i had peviously thought! any feedback on achieving that balance of speed and stablity with the proper airfoil would be a tremedous help. thanx.

MH45, you will never go back! low drag, wide AoA range, floats or rockets. Spent last weekend flying my 72" MH45 delta in widely varying conditions.

I was up when the lift was light and the Herrings and THL Zagis were coming down due to lack of lift, all I did was dial in a couple clicks of up trim to nose it up a hair for floating. I was up when it picked up to booming and everyone else added ballast, all I did was take dial the trim nose down a bit. Same plane, no ballast, now outrunning those ballasted ships.

A fantastic foil from Martin Hepperle. I've done a number of flying wings, and used S7003, Tsagi 10, EH1.5/9, EH2.0/10. EH 3.0/12 and an RG15 with a bit of reflex. Some work better than others, notably the 7003 and eh2/10, but none hold a candle to the MH45 in my opinion.

The bird mentioned above is always the last one up in light lift and hasn't needed ballast yet for high winds, and I've flown it in pretty darned big, eye watering hand freezing gales.

Try it out....get it flying and then run the CG back as far as you can stand it, I'm pretty sure you'll see what I mean!
