I just built up a Bandit from Composite Specialties (F3X.com)... it's an all epp foamie with a plank wing design... stubbie nose and tail - elevon setup - no rudder or elevator. weighs 16 oz, can add 10 more oz in ballast.

Has anyone ever used this to DS? If so, did it work OK? How would it compare to say a weighted Zagi?
Thx

Looks like it should work, other similar models work very well.

The Bandit is head and shoulders above a Zagi. It's quite fast for a foamie and retains energy amazingly well. You won't be able to wrap it up as fast a composite ship, but it's still a good DS'er.

Does the Bandit DS faster than a JW or are they about the same?
