Come on, give me a sim for my PS3! I would much rather sit in front of a big plasma to practise than in front of the PC. I don't know much about software development, but surely it isn't that hard to port it across from PC to console.

It may cost more. Look at Steel Battalion for Xbox, It was a 50 dollar game but you had to get the 150 dollar controller to play it. Steel Battalion hasn't sold as many copies as say Chrome Hounds for that reason. Not as many of us have the cash to fork out for a 200 dollar console game. It could happen, yet I may not. and then also when the console becomes obsolete, you may not be able to play the game as easily if at all. Then again I agree with you with using a sim on a plasma TV, it would seem ALOT more realistic. I have a 32" Samsung LCD that would be just begging for me to fly my Mud Duck I have for Clearview, and the T-6 that comes with Realflight if I ever break down and get it. That little 200 dollar price tag again, atleast most Realflights can be run on most PC's without upgrading the system. Wow man, now you just reminded me that there is a monitor port on the back of my TV. Too bad I don't have the right cable to connect it to the PC, lol.

You will not believe how nicer the colors are flying on TV monitor! My 32 incher came with VGA cable, so it was easy to connect to a PC.

s-video looks very bad. VGA is the way to go for LCD's.

Hmmm. maybe mine did come with one too. I'll have to look into that. In actuallity the TV is my folks, and in living room. But as luck would have it they are at work and I have the day off lol. So it gives me plenty of time to atleast give it a shot lol. That is if I can find a cable. How would I get the sound to work? Would there be another cable to plug into the TV or would I use the existing PC speakers?

I've flown several sims through a PC Projector (XGA?) Man, nothing like flying in front of a ten foot screen.
