OK dumb question.
On the 8103, which slot on the Rx do I plug in the spoiler servo lead? And how do you activate it? Ive never flown res, hence my stupidity (not to mention inane JR instr manual)

okay, first thing is to set your transmitter to glider mode.
the spoiler is then operated by the throttle.
Easy!
Now are you having one spoiler servo or two?

thanks man, I luv it, i get advice for something so basic from a guy half way around the world!
ok , makes sense, it's where i put the flap mix on my aileroned planes
so what if it is 2 spoilers? in terms of programing?

Put one spoiler into channel 1 and then put another into channel 7 or 8 or whatever and then disable the pot from controlling that channel and do a free mix of channel 1 to 7 (or 8 or what you chose).

Yeah
I got so bold as to set up my spoiler servos as spoilerons as well.
By setting up your spoiler in the mixes (use mixes 5 and 6) as the master and aux 2 as the slave you can have them work in unison. Then set up the other mix to have the rudder as the master and the spoilers as slaves. (this requires two mix programs) have them set so the pushing the rudder stick right kicks the right spoiler up, and left kicks the left spoiler up.
I don't use it much but it's fun to impress people with:)
