A friend of mine purchased some and we could not get the inline tube one to work on my flying wing at 150kph ?? not sure about the horizontal tube type..

if you want a whistle for your plane, I have seen a few people pull them off nerf footballs and frisbees and glue them on. Apparantly to good results.
