Hi Guys,
I am looking for a fix. All of the lights are flashing in in time with the red light at the top of the mast. the lower cabin does not flash when wired seprately. Did anyone else have this problem? I am also looking for some amber leds any thoughts as to where they may be found?

The lights are not really flashing they are flickering with the drop in current when the red flasher turns on. At least mine do.

Now if your tug is wired wrong then you are breaking the circuit when the red flashes thus making all your mast lights flash too (kinda like X-mas lights) Just make sure that the red flashing LED is wired in parallel to the others, there is a little printed circuit board mounted inside the cabbin that the LEDs are wired to. LEDs are polarised and will only work in one direction so if they dont light up then reverse the wiring.

Oh yea the cabbin lights are not flashing because they are on a different circuit, you will see this when you look at the printed boards.

Hi massey
the only lites that flicker with the mast head lit is the interior lites. the lites on the mast and navigation lites are steady.

Well then it sounds like your mast is wired on its own circuit and the cabbin lights are wired with the flashing light. This is normal then if that is how it is wirred. If you dont want the interior lights to flicker then wire them on their own branch and let the flashing LED be alone.

PM me with an address (International) & I'll send you off a few Orange (amber) & Yellows..

Brightness will depend on Voltage but they do a reasonable job.. Attached photo (not the best with flash & too dark without) gives an idea of output through my Kemo LED Tester

Cheers
