I ended up with several of these in a bulk surplus purchase. These are brand new and still in the factory sealed box. I gave one to a friend at work. He said it works find but isn't super hifi but sounds decent for this type of thing. I'll let it go for $15 ro 2 for $25 shipped continental US. I may would trade too so let me know what ya got. I am about to purchase some HS65 servos (hint hint). This is a cut and paste from the internet about it and says it all I think:

"Treble and bass controls for optimal sound tuning. The iCube is a stereo iPod speaker with integrated docking station. Specialized sound engineers have tuned the speakers and amplifier of the iCube for optimal sound performance. Please dont be fooled, this little box puts out plenty of sound. By use of the standard iPod cable, connected to the back, the iCube can be connected to your computer to become a docking station to synchronize your iPod with the iTunes software on your computer and to charge your iPod while being in the iCube. System requirements: USB 2.0 and Firewire; Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows XP; Mac OS X 10.1.5

Stereo Speaker and Docking Station is compatible with iPod Mini, iPod 3G (10,15,20,30,40,60 GB only), and iPod 4G/Photo
Enhanced 2 x 5 watt RMS full range (20 Hz - 20 KHz) drivers for optimal clarity

It is not wireless, sorry. Let me go by the UPS store tomorrow and find out how much it will cost to ship, probably USPS to make it cheaper. I'll get back to you. I won't charge anymore than what I pay.

Thanks for the kind words about fellow flyers. Of course I'm not going to get rich with these but hey, it may purchase a servo.

Will this one support a newer video ipod?

Or is it the icube2 that works for that?

I'm not 100% sure given I don't own and Ipod but from reading I would have to say no it does not support the video Ipod. Doesn't this one have a different sized base than the original Ipods? I think you would need something like the icube2 but again I'm not 100% sure. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can help us out.

BTW, I noticed that there is a pic of different Ipods (actually little drawings) at the bottom back of the box. I didn't capture it in the last pic I posted. I assume these little drawings tell you which IPods will go in it, correct? Should I post a pic of these little drawings? I could do it tonight if needed.

First, the shipping to 92130 via standard mail (6 days) is a few cents over $6 so we can say $6.

Ok, let's make this simple and just requote this including shipping for everyone. How does $15 for 1 or $25 for 2 shipped continental US sound?

PS, I'll post the pics of the little drawings tonight.

Here is the pic of the back/bottom of the box. Does this help and what exactly does this tell us? With respect to what can go in this unit I am going on info from the internet.

BTW, 2 sold ... thanks very much .... but I have more so let me know

2 are on the way to you. Hey, thanks very much and I hope you enjoy these as much as my friend says he has.

Please let us know when they get to you. I suspect others will be interested in finding out how they do from an Ipod owner.

Cheers
John

PS, I still have several if anyone else wants one. Why in the world did I buy a lot with so many of these LOL .... things that make you say hmmmmm.

Still have 3 of these. Make me a trade offer? I'll consider just about anything.

Not all but here are some things I'd like
Trex blades
Trex parts for SE (ie, mainshafts, belts, etc .... no main gears .. have lots)
connectors such as Deans or 3mm bullets
Micro Antenna
HS65 servos

Tell me what you have and lets see if we can make a deal.

John
