Changed JR servo over to Futaba and....?

yeah im switching the tail of my T-REX heli to a Futaba 9650 from a micro JR ds 285 and im having to switch the gyro direction and reverse the servo.... is this normal? its a dumb question but im gettn all confused over this... do JR and Futaba servos run opposite???? ive never done it so thats where the question arises.... anyone?

Normal - Futaba servos operate in the opposite (reverse) direction to JR & Hitec servos.
