Hey guys, Im a newbie trying to find a nice controller that I can use for my Magpie SF and to practice on a PC simulator so I dont look like a total newbie at madien flight. It looks like most people are using a fake TX and connecting their TX via the fake controller connecting through USB. Is there a way to just connect the controller via USB without the fake TX? I was looking at the DX6 but I dont see any USB interlinks for it. So far is JR and Futaba my only options. If so what will give me the best range and room to grow with advance planes later on?
Thanks guys

Take the initiative to research previous contributions . . click here (http://www.rcgroups.com/simulators-172/) . . then click "Search This Forum" in blue bar . . then enter a term such as dx6.

I have researched thats why I am asking the question. I see connections via a fake TX but Im trying to go aroudn that with any available USB interlink connections directly to the controller.

Sorry, I'm with Aeropal here, a simple bit or research wouldn't go a miss before posting such a question, however I'll give you some help :)
Go here (http://uk.yahoo.com/) and type in DX-6 USB interface - the first option at the top of the list may be what you're looking for !

Would it work with G3.5? From what Ive been reading, G3.5 is worthless unless you have "their" interlink...

all the decents sims require you to use the interface that is supplied with the sim. its their version of copyrite protection.

Wow, there are 7 or 8 rc-sim forums that I know, and almost every day a posting of someone who wants to use a sim without paying for it.
That`s very funny. And they seem to think that they are completely anonymous here...
ok as long as nobody asks here for some logged ip-numbers of posters...
But if they do: Make sure your Pc is clean otherwise you`ll have a serious problem ! :D

Unless you know what your doing. Copy protection only annoys honest users.
So.. yes, it can work just fine with "any" sim.
I prefer to use my TX because thats more "real" to me. AND I can take the other TX that came with it and play head to head with my other PC in the house.
My Esky 4ch works great in G3.5 ;)
Guest , what are you talking about? Who says that we didn't pay for it?
Take your accusations elsewhere.

Because he cannot say it does, because it's not "support too". Legally via copy protection.

I received the $29.95 USB cable today from SimBlaster and can't get it to configure. I'm using Windows XP and the instructiuon sheet is not doing it for me.
Now I'm wondering if I bought the correct cable...whats the $39.95 got that this one hasn't..? Both say they work with a Hitec Tx.
When I plugged the cable in..Windows said it found new hardware and everything is cool!
Then I go to control panel, game controllers and see a PPM type listed. If I select SinB from the list that's when the problem starts...computer says I don't have the proper driver and should go to Device Manager .....I think that's when "I lose it"..!
need assistance..
