Guys: Idea for making a water valve that work on zero pressure.

Guys: I am making a automatic water vending machine.......I just use a simple water pump to pump the water out and just use a timing to control the amount of water to dispense.

This time, I do not want to use pump......have tried using a silicon tubing, using ordinary servo to Squeeze the Tubing, it works perfectly, but I have to do a lots of modification inside the water dispensing.........have also tried installing a servo on the plastic faucet, it also work, but its too Bulky

Been thinking of modifiying the Plastic Faucet by installing a Magnetic Solenoid.........only 2 wire will be coming out the faucet.

Do you know a water valve that works on zero pressure or a very low pressure say 10 inch height of water.......have bought a Water Solenoid Valve 12 Volts from RS Component, but that did not work......any suggestion?

buy an automatic irrigation system for gardens and hack that. They come fairly cheap, especially if you are going to lose the electronics, run on a low voltage, are meant to be robust since they are installed outside, and can stand the water mains pressure while still opening and closing with no pressure. You can also find standalone valves made for larger irrigation systems, but thy might not be as easy to find, and might well be more expensive.
