Spektrum DX3 Binding issues

Hey guys,

I was wondering if I could get some help. I bought a DX3 2nd hand from a user here, and had no issues with payment/shipping. Now that it's arrived I'm having some trouble getting it set up. I've tried to set the failsafe using the binding feature, but it doesn't seem to complete the sequence. I've followed the instructions as they're listed in the manual, and I've even tried unplugging my steering servo and ESC (apparently it causes problems?) and using a seperate Rx pack. Is there anyone out there who's had a similar problem and found a solution?

the RC specs are as follows:

Spektrum DX3 Tx
SR3000 Rx
HS56HB servo
Mamba 25 ESC
Mamba 5400 motor
No name 2100 Mah 3s lipo(ESC)
onlybatterypacks 2S 1200 Mah Li-ion(Rx pack) PN: 1202FL

all installed in an RC18t....I'm not sure what could be causing the problem as I've even broken it down to the most minimal of system components....

Heh, I'm officially the dumbest person on the face of the earth, had my battery/servos plugged in the wrong way....Any tips on getting a mamba to pick up the neutral point????
