Hi there,
I'm a new member located in Bhutan and am very interested in electric RC helicopters. Looking to purchase a Walkera Dragonfly or Falcon 3D, but having a tough time finding sellers. How/where does one buy rc helis in India?? To be more specific, in the Northeast or Kolkata India.
Are there any online retailers or hobby shops that anyone knows of.

There are shops in delhi that you try like radical works. Mail order from singapore, HK or US is another route.

Unfortunately, I'm not into helis at the moment, although in the near future I might think of venturing into them. I'm just having too much fun building and flying Depron parkjets, there's hardly time for anything else.

I am from Pune , and new to Heli I use to do R\C planes long back around 16yrs ago back in school now want to get back into it as have some spare time for my old lost hobby . I am more fascinated by Helis than planes now . I plan to buy a new once as already crashed my recently bought walkera 76C . Could you please help me by suggesting me one for beginners . Also would like to know where to buy them India of if I buy online which is the site recommended by you . I an wondering how much customs duty would I need to pay for online purchase do you have any idea ?

Hi ... This is Kedar from Bangalore. I just bought a Falcon 40 fixed pitch Heli from the US and well .. this is my first stint at anything RC. I've never flown a plane before .. it took me 3 months till I could get it to hover ! ....
I intend to get into this hobby very seriously and have made plans for a park flyer. I would like to know where I can get parts like Motors, Li-Po's Radio systems etc in Bangalore. I checked India Hobby centre but their prices are exhorbitantly overrated. Can you suggest some places where I can get these things for lesser ? You can contact me on ksirdeshpande@gmail.com

There aren't any place in bangalore where you can buy lipos. net is the next best source. hope it helps
