Can someone make a suggestion of what brushless motor to use on an
E-Maxx? I'm not looking for any more speed, just better battery life
and less maintenance. I also would like something with good low speed
control.

My Novak HVMaxx 4400 has been excellent. You will get much more power
AND more runtime. Last time I checked, they had the system in the
refurb section of their website for $229! If not, the 6.5 system is the
closest thing to it (same windings, better rotor). The Novak is
sensored, so low speed control is excellent compared to the sensorless
systems I have used.

PS: I don't work for Novak or know anyone who does, they're products
have just always performed very well (I think I have seven Novak ESC's
and three brushless motors) and customer service has been excellent.
