The WORST battery/receiver box layout I've ever seen. How the heck is
all the servo leads/battery lead/antenna lead supposed to fit in
there? Mine has an empty servo slot, and I still can't figure out a
way to fit all that in there.

Get a box from a Savage X, bolts straight in, MUCH better lid design (no
body clips)
Oh and shorten your servo, receiver battery wires, makes things much neater
and easy to get to...
HTH :)

Standing in front of the truck looking at it, run the wires underneath the
left side of the rx tray and then UP to the receiver on the left side. All
of your wires should be coming from the left-lower portion of the battery
box up to the rx.
Here's a HUGE pointer. Drill two holes in the left side of the battery box
lid and run the battery connections through either hole so you can charge
the rx pack without having to pop the lid off the battery box.

I took out the little try, and velcro'd the RX upsidedown to the
inside of the lid. Works good, except having the RX upside-down made
all the servos work backwards. Thanks.
