OK, it's static, not RC (this one, anyway). But folks like Merriman and Welch are fast moving to have WTCs for this kit. What about the kit? Good fit, virtually no flash, amazing detail. I added photo etch 20mm & 40 mm gunsights, radio antenna detail, draft markings, two lookouts and a bridge officer from CMK Models.
Now back to my Albacore RC!

I stopped by the hobby shop to pick up a magazine on my way home from getting shop supplies, and sitting on an upper shelf was the Gato kit. :)
It had a price tag of $69.95, so I grabbed it :D
The devil made me do it!

Kapitan, you got a good deal! Especially if you go the Merriman or Welch route with a WTC, she'll be a beauty in the water!
I'm working on getting my SubTech Albacore operational, now. Can't find the scribe lines inside the hull so I know when to quit sanding and trimming! ARRRGH!

That's why I jumped on it. I opened the box about 20 minutes ago, and was floored at all the parts. After doing a look-see, I closed the box and put it under the basement stairs.
I won't touch anything until I see an article on R/Cing it.
