I see Skip Miller is advertising the Xantipa 2 on his website, but there are only pictures at this time. Anyone know any specifics about this ship? Inquiring minds want to know! :D

Thanks,
Steve

Skip has the only X-tail version especially made for the USA fliers.

I've been flying an older version Xantipa with 7037 airfoil for several years now. Although the RTF weight is 86oz. - it is a wonderful flyer, often logging the longest (and highest) flights of the day. However, at this weight... it can be somewhat difficult on launches and prone to tip-stalls if not "javlin launched" (thrown very hard and level).
Although an older design, it's very clean, and will perform right along with the rest of the pack on all but the lightest condition days.
Sure would like to find some spare wing tips. Anyone out there??

I have one also and it flies great. I really like the handling but as you state, gotta watch the launch with this plane. Good luck finding spare parts. I put out several want adds and had no response. Under the link posted earlier in this thread if you click on price list they have parts listed for it there.
