AG Industries P-51 (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMCP2&P=0) (theres also a Spitfire and a ME109)

Back in the RFFS days, this was one of the planes that was commonly converted, she's a bit of a lead sled, weighing in at 1.6 ounces RTF with a Kokam 170, two Acts and a KP00 gearbox. Stock Airframe weight is 1.1 Ounces. .2 oz of which is a metal ball in the nose for balance.

With a stock SWP setup, including the NiMh, anyone suppose it'll fly well enough to warrant the effort?

*Edit* I have considered converting an AA to rudder control, but my soldering skills are sub par to say the least.

The SWP guts are a pretty powerfull powerplant from my testing. I would recomend a Lipo though instead of the NiMh Battery and cut as much weight as possible from the foam inside the plane. With the WS it has I would be willing to to try and get that bird in the air with the SWP gear.

You HAVE to try it and tell us how it works...
