Graupner make three different sizes of outboards. Hobbico makes one called the EP-1 and you can buy a K&B 'type' lower end from two different places (BBY Racing and Fullers Fast Electrics) and hang your own electric motor on it.
There is one type being sold on ebay and touted as a 'vintage' outboard but in reality it is new China production and about 3-4" tall.

I need a outboard motor shell ....want to build a electric pontoon boat. Will use a hidden shaft drive. Does any one make this? I can use a functional OB if i can find one. The final boat size will be around 3 to 4 ft long.... Any input would be appreciated. This will be my first boat, mainly fly planes. Thanks to all

I found these two out board motors at my LHS, he toled me they had been on the shelf from the ealy 70's. they are and import from Japan, as you can tell by the righting on the box. there are no volteges marked on the box or motor, I assume they are 6v. but don't know. if you have a need for them, give me a P.M. my cost + shipping. I was going to use them for a small runabout, or fishing boat, I don't have time to build. 4" tall X 2" deep X 1" wide, they are made of plastic, they come with stearn mounting brackets also of plastic.

Hey Ro,
I have one of these outboards also. I forgot I had it until I saw your pics. No telling how long I have had it. I know I got it for cheap and like you I planned on building a boat using it. Somehow it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.
