Esky 0905A Simulator Controller Mods?

I just purchased an Esky 0905A simulator controller. It works fine but has a "power switch" that seems to do nothing. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to either utilize this switch somehow as a 5th channel or add a separate switch that could be used as a 5th channel? I'm willing to open this baby up and solder some wires for an extra channel if possible; I just don't have the electrical skill to know how to accomplish the task.

I believe that the esky controller is basically one of their TXs but without the RF deck. They seem in general to have two types a 4 channel and a 6 channel. The 6 channel seems to have inbuilt mixing for eCCPM so no channels available for an extra switch. The four channel seems to be the same board but with different firmware so although it seems to have 6 channels in the output stream the last two are at a default value and can't be changed my modding the system.

Basically, I think you are out of luck. Unless anyone else knows different.

18 months, 20 years. I don't mind having a conversation about it ;) Besides... if anyone anywhere is trying to do this, it's best to have some spot where they can find the discussion and my attempts ;)
