Les: I used JR 368s on the flaps and ailerons with very good results. They fit well and center well. My G2 is the V-tail version and I have Hs-85 nylon gear servos on the Vs and they center very well and I have not had any issues with them. I used a Fusion 6 receiver and that has worked very well also. If you have the V-tail version, put the CG where Vlad recommends and it well fly very nicely. Good luck with it!

Les,

The Graphite 2 is a fine ship. It deserves servos that match. The large flaps almost demand digital servos for their holding power. The ailerons should have good precision and the tail should have excellent precision.

The simplest thing to do is to use JR 368s all around. Futaba and Airtronics also have good digital micro servos in their lines that folks have reported work well and as good value.

Personally I stay away from the HS-85's. They are great for sport planes and foamys but in tests I personally performed they had significant drift with temperature change. For me that makes them unsuitable for sailplane elevator applications. I like and respect Hitec equipment but the HS-85s don't have an application in my expensive sailplanes.

Hope this helps.
