Hi! Anyone has a photo or the plans of the Sport.40 Top Turkey ? (made of wood and foam for the wing)

Hey. That's my design from a good few years ago. Don't think I've got any plans lying around. I thought I had the original Radio Modeller article but can't find it right now. I recall that for some reason, they published it with virtually no photographs. :confused:

I don't have any pictures of the original green version but here are a couple of later ones...

And if you're a real Cosmic Wind fan, here's a pic I took of Ballerina. Yes the original one. :eek: Since you prompted me to go through my photo archives to find the TT I thought I'd share it with you.

It was languishing in a small hanger somewhere in Surrey, England being refurbished sometime in the early 1990's.

In the background you can just see the fourth Cosmic Wind (or was it the fifth?) that was allegedly made up of bits stolen from the Lockheed factory.

How many meetings were held at Brooklands? I remember going to one S40 meeting, do you remember how permission was obtained to fly there?

I think we had four meetings there. To get permission, I just went and visited the museum curator and buttered him up. We stopped using it when they built all those houses on the east side as they were a bit close for both noise and safety reasons.

Dave, I have some photos of your original green version which I took when I was writing for Radio Modeller. If I can figure how to post them I'll put them on.
