Is there any activity or interest in building vintage gliders such as the Bowlus Baby Albatross, Bowlus Senior Albatross, Condor IV, Minimoa, Wien, Grunau II, and others?
Best Regards, :)

Off course there is !
Check out the "scale sailplanes" section on tis forum.
Among others, currently there are building threads for a Nemere, from a kit, a Scheibe L-Spatz plan build, etc., etc.
For building pictures of my scale sailplanes, got to www.mkrusa.com :
1/4 scale Schleicher Ka8b from the Flair kit
1/4 scale Bergfalke II plan build
1/4 scale Grunau Baby IIb from the Krick kit
1/3 scale Gruanu Baby IIb from the Schneider kit

If you're interested in some U.S. made vintage ships, check out Tom Martin's web site, http://www.tmrcsailplanes.com/index.html, he specializes in Schweizers. Nice laser cut stuff.
