backorder question

I made an order on 1/10/2007 and it has yet to ship due to two items being listed as backorderd:

RD820 Dual Conv. 8CH Receiver 72Mhz (Website Status: -19)

and

HXT35-36-1320 HXT 35-36 1320kv Brushless Outrunner (Website Status: In STOCK)

When do you expect the next shipment of Corona RD820 RXs to arrive??

I understand there are no guarantees with backorders but I figured by one month time something would have happened. The order has $171.01 worth of items of which the motor and RXs are the most important and therefore I need those to ship.

So, when do you think stuff will ship out?

I have been very pleased with all of my previous non-backordered items and I still recommend this site to others but I would like to know the status since one of my models needs that motor and I need to have the model built for income.

I have checked the database for 'Wedge98' I have checked our emails for a 'wedge98' i have checked the sales and dispatch systems for someone in 'Woodbridge' though there is no 'Wedge' or '98' in Woodbridge.

Please email support@unitedhobbies.com regarding your order's delay.

Corona should be arriving in a couple of days.
The motor has been in stock for some time and your order automatically allocates one to you. So even if the stock says -20, there will still be motors on the shelves, one of which is assigned to your order.

Thank you very much for doing the research into my order without me asking for it. That's a good sign of customer support. :)

I am sending you a private message in regards to my backorder with every piece of information you could need. Good news about the Corona arriving in a couple of days since I have four of them on order :)

I'm a bit disgruntled as well.

I placed an order:

I asked them to split the order and send the 1300mah lipos while the other 150mah was on backorder. They sent me an email stating that the 150mah is no longer available and was pulled from their website. Now the 1300mah is on backorder as well.

Why would they hold my entire order for something that they they don't even offer anymore? I really hope they didn't sell my (2) 1300mah batteries to someone else, otherwise I'll have to wait for those to be replenished as well. This really doesn't make me happy at all.

Hopefully everything will go as well as my other orders. I got some of them quicker than my hobby lobby orders.

So, things have been shipping and arriving for me. The interesting part is I ordered the motor that was IN stock on their website but on backorder in my order, and the only thing holding my order up from shipping.

So if an item is backordered in your order but in stock on the website, it is actually in stock and you can order it and have it shipped.

So Rule of thumb with UH: NEVER order a backordered item unless you don't care when it arrives and you don't actually need it.

Overall I am still happy with them and their service and I have a big order planned for next month.

I have made 12 orders and 10 have shipped to me.
