Great ds`ing the gulp at parker. It sure feels and sounds like a glass ship! Thanks Steve for letting me try out your gulp. It is now on my wish list! Doug Rubin:)

I have flown a couple of times with Steve up at Poway, and i must say he makes a fine ship! A 60" Moth or a Gulp SR is in my future, whichever one becomes available first.

Hey you guys!
OK, I am really jealous now. You get to go to Parker. You get to hang out with Steve. Then Steve (and possibly others) hand you "their" plane and you fly the snot out of it. Probably a little envy in there too.
OK Steve, when are you going to send me a SR to "try" for a while?

Just finished building my Gulp, test flew yesterday in light winds, then today---Gulp!!--I took it to the big bluff on the edge of town and threw her right into the teeth of a gale. It was blowing 35 to 38 mph and the little bird took right off, gaining about 200 feet in 15 seconds to join a pair of eagles. I put her into a dive, scouring the edge of the bluff at what looked to be close to 90 mph just to see if the wings would blow off. They didn't!! This is one heck of an aircraft for a chunk of foam!!

Rayven, Nice slope, Where's that at? Outside of Port Townsend? You'll have to show me sometime.

This bluff is right in town, facing due South. Very tricky place to fly, however, as there are houses on either side of this lot! Are you local, and what do you fly? Perhaps we can arrange to get together. There's about 4 or 5 of us that regulary fly slope here in Port Townsend.
